Yoga is a tool for transformation. Grounded in love, selfless service and compassion, I have been called to help end suffering for the millions of women & children all over the globe who are forced into slavery and unimaginable abuse, and to take action in response to this cruel and inhumane practice of buying & selling human beings. My intention, through my classes and workshops, is to help create a more loving, peaceful and connected world one class at a time.

Rachel Walsh is a passionate and highly sought after yoga instructor in Portland, Oregon. She is an 800 RYT and 500 E-RYT and has over 12 years teaching experience in the U.S. and in the U.K. She has taught over 10,000hrs of classes in those 12yrs and has loved every second!  She completed a 500 hour Master program at Yoga Pura in Phoenix, Arizona in 2004, and her Yoga Nidra Facilitator certification through Yoga Pura and Kamini Desai, Director of the Amrit Institute, in 2010. In 2004 and again in 2008 she received her certification to teach yoga for kids and teens through Motion Potions in Az & Yoga Bugs and Yoga'd Up in London, England. Rachel has taught classes, retreats and workshops all over the world including Phoenix, San Diego, La Jolla, London, Portland, NYC and a few other cities. Rachel’s classes reflect her background in dance and choreography & she focuses on awakening the true Self with humor, truthfulness & removing what no longer serves us. She embraces a wide range of Hatha yoga traditions, including Iyengar, Amrit, Kripalu, Viniyoga, Yin, Restorative and Vinyasa. She is available for retreats, workshops, and  privates as well as studio classes.
